Visitors to Hawaii would need a long stay in Poipu indeed
to take advantage of all the wonderful activities Kauai
provides. Not only does Kauai have great beaches
with world class surfing and snorkeling, but we also
have some of the best getaway beaches in the world.
Brennecke's Beach, world famous for body surfing, is
a couple of blocks from Poipu Plantation. Next
to Brennecke's is Poipu Beach Park, where snorkeling
and swimming is fantastic. |

There are several nearby charter boat operators for
whale watching in the winter, scuba diving all year
long, and romantic sunset cruises. You can also rent
a kayak, strap it on top of your car and explore Kauai's
bays and rivers on your own. Within a few minutes
drive from Poipu Plantation there are two world famous
botanical gardens that have rare and beautiful specimens
of Pacific flora.

|
Allerton Gardens, a world famous Botanical Garden, offers
guided tours daily. At no charge, visitors can wander
through the lush gardens at nearby Kiahuna Plantation.
Horse back riding is available only a 5 minute drive
away. There is no shortage of shopping on Kauai,
either at the Poipu Shopping Center ( a few blocks away
) or in the quaint little plantation town of Koloa.
|
 |
Two of the most popular golf courses on Kauai, the Kiahuna
and Poipu Bay (home of the PGA Grand Slam) are within
a mile of Poipu Plantation. A curious fact - if
a mainland city of 500,000 had as many golf courses
per capita as Kauai, they would have 100 courses. You
can easily get a tee time, either here in Poipu, or
at The Kauai Lagoons and Princeville Golf Course.. |
 |
Finally, the awesome beauty of Kauai, can best be experienced
by taking a helicopter tour from one of the many operators
on Kauai.
So whether it's dining, tennis, golf, horseback riding,
snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, shopping, or a helicopter
flight, we can take care of all the activities reservations
for you. |
